In the words of the great Maya Angleou: “One isn't necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can't be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest”. I believe that as individuals, with courage and support, we can unlock our potential, and create a rich and rewarding career for ourselves in whatever field we choose.
I work with organisations, with senior executives and with individuals to make the most of their skills and to arm them with the courage to move forward. Moving forward is not necessarily moving upward; understanding the depth of our current position, making the most of the breadth of our knowledge sometimes reaps more reward than simply moving up a career ladder and I specialise in meaningful, inspirational and personalised coaching for individuals and businesses.
My own career has armed me with a breadth of experience: I rose to a senior level in the international private business sector, specialising in HR. I have a degree in psychology and became a coach in 2010. Since that time, I have worked with a diverse selection of amazing people, from those in the business world, to young people seeking employment for the first time and now offer:
- one-to-one personal coaching for career managment and/or personal development
- Senior level executive coaching
- Skill development services, including a range of HR related business services: recruitment, talent and succession planning, presentations and appraisals, time managment, and the importance of soft skills and empathy.
I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and the British Psychological Society (BPS), and my ‘listen, talk, inspire’ approach, combined with my ability to quickly build a rapport with my clients allows me to uncover a solution - change management is a particular focus in my work.
